  • Workshop Venue and Lodging Information

    Main Workshop Venue:

The 2017 workshop will be held in Alice Campbell Hall on the University of Illinois campus.

Parking is available in the lot next to Alice Campbell (D22); it is open to general public parking on weekends. Visitors should read and follow all regulations; there is no overnight parking and some spaces in the lot are marked with signs to indicate they are rented 24/7.

    Lodging

The hotel room blocks at the Illini Union and the Holiday Inn Express and Suites have expired.

Parking is plentiful at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites.

Participants staying at the Illini Union can obtain a free parking pass at the time of check-in and the staff will tell you where to park.  The Union will bag meters for guests that are staying at the hotel, but others should not park at these meters.  The University does not enforce parking meters on Saturdays or Sundays, so participants can freely park at any University of Illinois meter (beware of City of Urbana or City of Champaign meters).  U of I meters will display the block I on the meter.  There is a large lot located on the corner of Mathews and Springfield Avenue about a block northeast of the Union.  It is labeled B1.  There is a lot just east of the Union if meters are not bagged.

**NOTE** The MCORE road improvement project has created some lane closures near the Illini Union. Details and a map can be found here.
